CURTIS CULWELL
Dr. Curtis Culwell is a respected educational leader whose career spans decades of service to Texas schools. Dr. Culwell served as superintendent of schools at Lubbock and Garland ISDs. A visionary leader, Dr. Culwell spearheaded the development of a state-of-the-art special events and convention facility for Garland ISD, providing a dedicated space for graduations and large community events. Beyond his district leadership, he made significant contributions at the state level, serving as Chairman of the University Interscholastic League Legislative Council and President of the Texas School Alliance. He also served on the State Board of Educator Certification and the March of Dimes Dallas Board of Directors, demonstrating his lasting commitment to education and community advancement.
LESLIE SLOVAK
Coach Leslie Slovak is a dedicated educator with 30 years of experience. She spent six years as the head volleyball coach at Berkner High School before transitioning into multiple administrative roles. For 15 years, Leslie served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Richardson ISD, and for 9 years, she held the position of Executive Director of Athletics before retiring in the summer of 2025. A respected leader in Texas high school athletics, Leslie served as the President of the Texas High School Athletic Directors Association (THSADA) for the 2024-2025 school year, after previously serving as the THSADA Region 3 Director. She has been recognized multiple times for her exceptional leadership, earning the Region 3 Athletic Director of the Year award in 2020, 2023, and 2024. Additionally, Leslie served on the UIL Waiver Review Board for five years, further contributing to the development of athletics in the state.
CADE SMITH
Cade Smith brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with over 20 years in athletics and educational leadership. As a former head coach and district administrator, Cade excels in identifying talent, developing winning strategies, and driving program growth. His dedication to fostering student-athlete success and creating impactful programs sets him apart. Cade’s expertise and passion make him a key asset to our team, helping districts build strong foundations for long-term success. He is committed to guiding organizations toward their vision with precision and care.
STEVE WILLIAMS
With 43 years of experience (all in Allen ISD), Steve Williams has a proven track record of building successful programs and fostering strong leadership. As a former athletic director and head coach, he brings invaluable expertise in managing teams, hiring top talent, and creating a culture of excellence. Steve’s passion for athletics and commitment to student success make him an integral part of our team. His leadership and vision help districts achieve their goals and elevate their athletic programs
